Local Tourists – One of these Days

This is one of theses days
Where I could leave everything behind me.
Just grab a bag, pick my stuff,
And then I’d take the train.

I’d leave my friends, my house,
My town, my family.
It just doesn’t suit me,
I should get out of the country.

This is the time I would leave for good,
Don’t wanna be misunderstood.
I’m just gonna say it loud and clear:
I don’t wanna stay here.

Oh take me to the place where I belong,
Doesn’t matter if it’s near or far,
‘Cause I’ll carry on, walk the road and sing this song.
Thank God I brought my guitar.

This is just one of these days,
Where nothing seems in place.
It’s one of these days where I could let go,
But I just couldn’t let go of you.

When it’s me alone on my way,
To the next horizon,
Then I live carefree,
Don’t need your company.

And I don’t care, where the rails
And roads will take me,
As long as it’s straight ahead,
‘Cause I don’t wanna get back.

With the taste of sweat and tears,
I’ll keep on marching,
I just can’t stop,
Won’t let it drop.

With every step I take,
My feet get heavier,
I’ll leave my guitar,
Or I won’t make it any further.

Oh I know just the place where I belong,

It seems that my plans have changed.
No I won’t leave, I’d rather stay and sing this song.
Thank God that I have found my way.

That was just one of these days,
Where nothing seemed in place.
It was just one of these days, one of these days,
It was just one of these days where I could’ve let go,
But I never could let go of you.
